No parents want to hear their child will need to have anesthesia for surgery or a procedure.

We know because we are parents! Our main role as parents is to keep our children safe and provide them with the best care. Why would you compromise that when you are searching for a team to provide sedation to your child?

Our Pediatric Sedation Team

We are a board-certified pediatric team. Our team brings in the highest level of excellence and will not compromise care of your child because we are parents first! We understand how difficult it is to be in this situation. Sedation/anesthesia is not an easy topic of discussion or a procedure any parents want to consider for their child.

We left the hospital setting to focus on private practice because we have more control of our cases and of our team members. Your child is not used as a “training” case for residents at the hospitals. We choose who we want on our team and your family will get to know our team PRIOR to the day of surgery. Everyone on our team is committed to providing the highest standard of excellence. We treat every patient as if they are our own and will not compromise care.

Dr. Jessica Marn has been in private practice since 2001. She taught many residents in New York City, New Jersey, Westchester, Long Island, and Connecticut, just to name a few. Dr. Marn has done over 4000 cases requiring nitrous oxide, intravenous sedation, or general anesthesia.

Dr. Richard Marn is a medical doctor who is dually boarded in general anesthesia and pediatric anesthesia. He is one of the only dually-board pediatric anesthesiologist in the tristate area. Dr. R. Marn was trained with the best in his field; he also was one of the doctors to work on cranial separation at John Hopkins Children’s Hospital. Dr. R. Marn has worked at Mount Sinai and trained dental anesthesiologists and medical anesthesiologists. He has performed more than 11,000 sedation and general anesthesia cases both in the hospital and in private practice. For more information about Dr. R. Marn, please visit New York Medical Anesthesia.

We understand this is a difficult situation to be in, but we are here for you and your family at the time you need it most. Please contact us with any questions you may have. Your child’s safety is our number one priority.
